Bobby and Kathy Mason's home group will be taking around 50 volunteers to help process some of the OCC Shoe Box gifts gathered in our area on December 8th from 5-10pm. The location is tba and we will update this info as it comes in. This is for anyone ages 13 and up. We hope you can get involved!

Tickets are $20 and now available for purchase in the foyer. The last day to purchase tickets is September 10th. This event is open to the community, so invite your friends and co-workers to a great day of fellowship and being in God's Word.
Our Disciple-Making Community Groups are having a group Kick-Off Lunch on September 10th immediately following our worship service that day. If you have yet to get plugged into a DMC Group this is a great opportunity to come and meet the different leaders and groups members. Mark your calendars and join us for lunch on September 10th!
"Redeemed: Grace to live every day better than the day before" by Angela Thomas-Pharr. Tuesday's 9:15am-11:30am beginning August 29th-October10th. The group will meet in the Big Room of Building One.The study engages us in 40 days of prayer as we read through the Psalms. Workbooks are available the first day of class for $13.00. Our student ministry is headed to Bahama Bucks from 6:30PM-8PM. We will leave Lake Sharon at 6:15PM.
Bring an appetizer to share and paint your very own masterpiece as Sarah Gladney leads us in the step by step process. Sign up in the foyer March 5th-19th. Cost, $5.00 due at sign up which covers your canvas and paint supplies. If you have questions, see Tamra Forson.
We have collected enough bags to start learning how to make the sleeping mats. It's a 5 step process and you can pick the one that suits you best or try them all. If you have the following, please bring with you, if you do not have they will be provided: cutting scissors, rotary cutter, self healing mat, crochet hook #P and #Q. If you have questions see Andrea Campbell or LaDonna Fitzgibbon.
Remember, it takes 600 - 700 plastic shopping bags for each sleeping mat, so keep bringing them. These mats will be distributed to the homeless throughout our area.
Join us at LSCC on January 21st to watch God's Not Dead 2. Doors will open at 9:45am and the movie is from 10:00am-12:00pm. We will have Lunch following the movie. Childcare will be provided by reservation for ages 10 and younger. Email Laurie Deering at email@example.com by January 18th.
On March 19th, we are having our FAMILY FUN FRENZY! Join us for some crazy fun playing games, goofing around on inflatables, and the classic easter egg hunt. The best part is...its free! So invite your friends and family to Lake Sharon on March 19th from 1-3pm.
We are looking for individuals who are willing to create and lead a carnival-type game, lead kids in doing a craft, staff one of the existing activities, and / or help with setup and tear down. Please let me know if you are able to volunteer by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
