Join us on Christmas Eve at 5 PM for our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service. We will be singing traditional Christmas Worship songs, reading from God's word and lighting candles to remember how Christ, our light, brought hope to the world. 

This will be our only service on Sunday the 24th. Our regulary scheduled morning service is simply moved to 5pm. We hope you can join us on December 24th at 5pm.

Lake Sharon is hosting any college students in need of a place to study for finals this Sunday Night from 6-10pm. There will be coffee, snacks, and a quiet environment for you to come get some work done. Come hang out!

Bobby and Kathy Mason's home group will be taking around 50 volunteers to help process some of the OCC Shoe Box gifts gathered in our area on December 8th from 5-10pm. The location is tba and we will update this info as it comes in. This is for anyone ages 13 and up. We hope you can get involved!

Tickets are $20 and now available for purchase in the foyer. The last day to purchase tickets is September 10th. This event is open to the community, so invite your friends and co-workers to a great day of fellowship and being in God's Word.

Our Disciple-Making Community Groups are having a group Kick-Off Lunch on September 10th immediately following our worship service that day. If you have yet to get plugged into a DMC Group this is a great opportunity to come and meet the different leaders and groups members. Mark your calendars and join us for lunch on September 10th! 

On the First Sunday of every month we have our kids stay and worship with their families during the main worship service. Nursery is still available for those who have babies and toddlers. 

"Redeemed: Grace to live every day better than the day before" by Angela Thomas-Pharr.  Tuesday's 9:15am-11:30am beginning August 29th-October10th. The group will meet in the Big Room of Building One.The study engages us in 40 days of prayer as we read through the Psalms. Workbooks are available the first day of class for $13.00. Get ready for some water games at Lake Sharon from 6:30 to 8pm. 

Our student ministry is headed to Bahama Bucks from 6:30PM-8PM. We will leave Lake Sharon at 6:15PM. 

We have collected enough bags to start learning how to make the sleeping mats. It's a 5 step process and you can pick the one that suits you best or try them all. If you have the following, please bring with you, if you do not have they will be provided: cutting scissors, rotary cutter, self healing mat, crochet hook #P and #Q. If you have questions see Andrea Campbell or LaDonna Fitzgibbon. 

Remember, it takes 600 - 700 plastic shopping bags for each sleeping mat, so keep bringing them. These mats will be distributed to the homeless throughout our area.
